摘要

Steve Muscarello, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at IAA, highlights the completion of our four-part CAT Brief Series, DDI’s new office, and Impact's shift to AuctionNow.

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Labor Day Holiday! I’ve got a lot of exciting things to cover so let’s get right to it.

With hurricane season still going strong it’s appropriate that I highlight our four-part Catastrophe Response Strategy Brief series. Our final brief, on Vehicle Merchandising, recently debuted in the midst of this very active season. The first three briefs cover our Real Estate Strategy, Operational Execution, and Transportation Logistics. The series dives into the key elements of our Catastrophe Response Strategy and how IAA provides an unmatched level of service to our customers in their greatest time of need. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to read all four Catastrophe Response Strategy Briefs.

IAA’s Tab Edmundson talks about opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability around digital processing total-loss titles in a recent WardsAuto article. Tab is Vice President-Client Solutions for IAA and President of DDI Technology. It’s a quick but interesting read!

Big things are happening at DDI Technology, IAA’s automotive title management and technology subsidiary. Earlier this month DDI moved into a new 16,000 square foot facility just outside of Columbia, SC, in Irmo. DDI’s new office will accommodate their ever-growing title processing, vault storage, IT development, customer support and sales teams. The space provides room for more than six million titles onsite, ensuring expedient processing for DDI’s customers.

Finally, Impact Auto Auctions, our Canadian business unit, has officially made the shift to the completely digital auction platform IAA AuctionNow™. We built this adaptive platform to support product enhancements that are proactive and responsive to the dynamic global market. This allows us to build and enhance features and functionality quickly, providing an unmatched experience for our buyers. Learn more about Impact’s move to AuctionNow.

As always, thank you for your business. Stay safe and healthy and I will be in touch again soon.
