Loss Advisor™

Loss Advisor™—offered through CSAToday®—helps insurance carrier representatives determine if a vehicle is a candidate for total loss. Using predictive analytics and management reporting, this tool can determine if a vehicle meets your specific total loss threshold and gets vehicles to settlement faster.

How Does Loss Advisor Work?

Upon first notice of loss, claims specialists enter information about a vehicle’s damage based on the owner’s answers to a few short questions. Loss Advisor quickly determines whether a vehicle is a total loss using a weighted points system. The system accounts for the reported damage, actual cash value (ACV), and salvage value, and is easily customizable to insurance carrier-specific total-loss thresholds.

How Do Sellers Benefit from Loss Advisor?

  • Gives visibility into early total loss performance

  • Reports volume by team or individual, total loss ratio by team or individual, and detailed information about every loss evaluation

  • Reduces operational costs by getting vehicles to the inspection phase faster

  • Smooths the process from first notice of loss to settlement, improving the policyholder’s experience

  • Provides access through any internet-equipped device
