Résumé

Steve Muscarello, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at IAA, provides an update on some of IAA's latest changes.

Greetings!

It's hard to believe we've already entered the month of May. Given the last several weeks have been greatly affected by   there is starting to be a light at the end of the tunnel. As state restrictions begin to loosen, we at IAA are continuing to focus on health and safety measures at our branches to protect our customers and employees. While we look forward to getting “back to business,” we know there will be a whole new perspective.

For the safety of your employees, we continue to offer IAA Inspection Services®, our solution for remote vehicle inspections and appraisals, eliminating the need for your employees to be in the field inspecting your units. As we move into our new normal, this service provides a benefit to customers in the reduction of both cycle time and advance charges, regardless of whether or not social distancing is a factor.

One exciting announcement we can make is that despite the global pandemic, IAA is seeing a rise in proceeds for our customers attributed to our merchandising platform and particularly IAA 360 View™! Our focus on making vehicle data and imagery readily available to our buyers via our digital platform is truly paying off!

Lastly, I wanted to remind you that we recently published our 2019 Industry Report. While 2020 greatly shifted due to COVID-19, during 2019 the U.S. economy and automotive industry saw an upward trajectory. It's a thorough look back at last year, and an informative read for those of us in the industry.

As always, thank you for your business. Stay safe and healthy. I will be in touch again soon.
